The Travel Industry Authority (TIA) conducted an eight-week trade consultation from 9 February 2022 to 5 April 2022 to collect views from the industry practitioners, organisations and relevant stakeholders on the implementation details of the new regulatory regime of the travel industry, including the proposals on subsidiary legislation to be made under the Travel Industry Ordinance (Cap. 634), the directives for licensees, licence application and renewal requirements, etc.

After collating and analysing all the views collected during the consultation period, TIA has published the consultation summary, putting forward concrete and feasible proposals as well as follow-up actions.
